I have not being getting texts from this number, but because I'm on a rolling contract with vodafon for €30 a month I noticed my last 3 Bill's have been much bigger. When I went through my bill I noticed all these charges of €2.03, and always on a Sunday. I contacted Vodafone through live chat, they advised me to text STOP to the 5 digit number, which I did straight away. That was last month, got my bill for this month and guess what, there are still some on it, not just as many. I am out almost €100 now. I don't even get the texts but am being charged for them on the quiet. I am not a Tesco mobile. What can I do now. I blocked the number but still being charged.

They are a scam you are supposed to text STOP to the five digit number that sent you the text but I believe from reading several different accounts that in fact buy texting STOP you are confirming to that company that you are a live number. What that means I think is that they generate random numbers to send out their scam texts to and therefore by texting stop you are highlighting that you are a subscriber on a network. The best way to deal with the text is to DELETE it IMMEDIATELY and DO NOTHING MORE. I hope I am correct in this but I am pretty sure I am.
