These spam calls with international numbers, mostly from African and Southeast Asian countries, along with fake messages from unknown users, have flooded WhatsApp and Indians have nowhere to go but Twitter to share their ordeal.

If you search the number in Done Deal the number matches to a seller. His name is John, in Offaly. Kept texting me about a sale item I have on DoneDeal... at random late times & un nessescary annoying texts. Google the number, few more people talking about him on other searches too, saying hes aggressive

Same as others. Contacting me after placing a donedeal ad saying they will only deal with women and then looking to offer me cash or bank draft before viewing car. Kept sending me messages when I didn't reply. Googled the number and found these messages. Blocked the number. Avoid at all costs.
