Scam premium texts charging 7.50 euro/week. Parent company TXTNation, UK based and licenced in Ireland by ComReg. Report immediately to ComReg and demand a refund if charged

Never heard of this until it cost money

Managed to get €30 from in the last 4 weeks - €2.50 x 3 each Tuesday. Just discovered it today when I got my bill. Reported it to Eir and contacting Comreg.

Taking my phone credit

I did not subscribe. I don't know how they got my number. I did not agree to €2.50 per text message they sent (3 messages a week). Looking at this site, they are operating this number since at least 2015. They must have stole a lot of money from people in that time.

SMS received for Librarius service, assumed it was spam and ignored. Then scammed out of 45 euro (5 euro per week) before it finally stopped upon sending STOP to the number twice. Refund is impossible.

Started sending spam texts every couple of seconds about "mind coin pro" and to text back to unsubscribe. Blocked the number. If you respond, you will be charged large amount of money continuously.

Ok, you got message from 57977 saying blah blah you subscribed to some unknown . Sometimes people don't even notice, because these messages going straight to the spam/blocked folder. Do not ignore, send STOP or they will keep you charging €2.50 per message until your death, whatever you are on bill pay or prepay, they will drain EVERYTHING, even bonus balance. You will need 10c on your mobile account to send "STOP". If STOP didn't work, and you are still charged, contact ComReg, more info https://servicechecker.comreg.ie/
Your mobile service provider won't be able to refund lost money, because your money is taken by the "third party" a$$holes, who are able easily to subscribe our mobile numbers without any consent/acknowledgement. For refund you have to contact these scammers, you can find their phone numbers/emails on https://servicechecker.comreg.ie/ Be ready they may punt you to some other "responsible for the issue" company. Also they may ask your bank account details for refund (May God protect you). Anyway they have to resolve your complaint within 10 working days. If not - (guess what) contact ComReg.
To avoid this type of scam in the future you can ask your mobile service provider to block premium rate numbers 53XXX to 57XXX. They do it for free and they should warn you by blocking these numbers you won't be able to use services like TV and radio voting and competitions (e.g. X-factor, Late Late Show), charity donations etc. Free services 50XXX and standard rate numbers 51XXX are not affected.

Send STOP to that number, them contact you mobile provider to block those type of numbers.

stole over 70€ from my mother, had to report them to comreg, its disappointing that this scam still exists.
