What can the users learn about a number that is calling them?
Users can find the reviews of the phone number written by other users, the interest in the phone number in the last month and, if possible, its location (for landlines). Sometimes, there are no reviews for a given phone number. If, however, the page has e.g. a thousand views, it shows that it is most likely an annoying caller.
More than one out of every three calls to Americans from numbers not in their contacts lists were spam in the fourth quarter of last year—and we can take some relative pride in that, because many other countries have a much bigger phone-spam problem.
Meta-owned WhatsApp allows users to make voice and video calls on the platform. This also means that several times we end up getting calls from unknown people. I got scammed. They were posing as revenue offering me €855 of tax return. I gave them my details and they wiped all my money from my debit account (€1155). I rang my Bank Of Ireland and they closed my card, issued me a new one and are now doing an investigation. I am now broke and I'm not sure I will get my money back. May they find the scammer and deal with them accordingly. And may I get my money back!!!

Got a phone call from this number telling me I'm owed €500 from revenue, asking for credit card details. They also called me last week, when I confronted him on the phone he hung up. Definitely a scam
